You can’t control the situation but you can control how you react to it…. Though seems difficult but it is not. There are two variables – one that can be controlled or you have the authority/power to amend or control it and the other variables over which you have no control of.
Now what you cannot control are the things that are happening around you and others feeling/thoughts/assumptions/what they say to you – but what you can definitely control is your emotions/conscious thoughts and feelings.
A person gets angry on you – you have several options – to throw back at him, fight with him, shout at him, be sad or cry, or just ignore and be normal. What you do is controllable and the way you react decides how you feel – happy/content/sad/depressed/excited and so on.
